Common absorption features in observed frame GRB spectra

This graph shows 6 grb spectra in the observed frame. (The spectra of grb030329 shows the progression from day 4 to day 27 of the spectra). The red lines superimposed on the grb spectra show how many of the same absorption systems are common to all the six restframe spectra. This is a too large frequency of common features between the different spectra to be coincidence. And shows that many absorption features in the grb observed frame spectra must be imposed locally ( by the solar wind) on the afterglow and not at the cosmologically distant grb source. This observed frame explanation for the common features also explains the observations made by Prochter and Prochaska in 2006 that that galaxies appear to be four times more common in the direction of gamma-ray bursts than in the direction of quasars.

This url provides explanations for various physical phenomena using traditional classical physics. For explanations on how grbs, sagnac effect , the earths magnetic field and other phenomena can be explained by a classical model see the simulations http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jaymoseleygrb
